I COLORI DEI CAMPI DI LAVANDA.
Lavanda: immergersi nella terra del blu di lavanda.
Osservate le foto e poi chiudete gli occhi e respirate profondo – I vostri sensi vi dicono che siete in Provenza! La Provenza dei campi di Lavanda in fiore! Il profumo inebriante di Lavanda è più forte nel cuore dell’estate, da metà giugno ai primi di agosto quando il vento muove gli steli e praterie di blu si stendono a perdita d’occhio. I campi di lavanda coprono gli altipiani della zona di Valensole e dell’area di Sault, ai piedi del Mont Ventoux. La Lavanda cresce nella zona di Apt, nel Luberon e nell l’Enclave Valréas. Le mie fotografie sono state fatte sul “Plateau de Valensole” e dintorni in due diverse estati.

Lavender: immerse yourself in the land of blue lavender.
Look at the photographs, close your eyes and breathe deeply: your senses tell you that you are in Provence! The Provence of the lavender fields in bloom! The heady scent of lavender is strongest in the heart of summer, from mid-June to early August, when the fine stalks wave in the wind and the blue prairies stretch as far as the eye can see. Lavender fields cover the high plateaux in the Valensole area, Sault and at the base of Mont Ventoux. Lavender grows in the Apt area, in the Luberon and in the enclave of Valréas. My photographs were taken on the ‘Plateau de Valensole’ and its surroundings in two different summers.
